So I went to see on Youtube what people around the world were watching of my clips? reason I got curious about this is the fact that depending on where you lived, certain videos appealed more to the location. It also gave me a better idea what people wanted.
Ages
First thing you notice is ages globally. 17 and younger watched the most. Many of those are interested in making their own Counter Strike Server. *interesting*
Locals Like...
A big chunk of people here in the US topped my Vector Graphic video from ages 35-44, leading behind more people interested under the age of 17 in CSS Server.
The UK Tops with ages 17 and younger going for CSS Server. I'm seeing a pattern here. :)
Then the Middle East. Surprising enough, How to Manage Bandwidth topped the most viewed! CSS Server still most favored for the younger crowed.
Asia seems to be an older crowed. The views also show this, as well that China draws most of the hits! Wonder if this also has to do with lifestyle. The "old schoolers" love their computers, while Kids might be interested in other electronics devices.
From 25 to 44, Many in Africa seem to be small business types looking how to manage their business. Looking for solutions. More of a mature crowed I see. Obviously Internet cafe owners looking to improve business.
Conclusion
So what I can gather is many young one's want to learn something in relation to "gaming", but I hook you guys learning Ubuntu in the process. I'm glad to see that. I believe the next gen is going to make tons of headway when it comes to Free Software & Open Source. Those who are small startup companies looking to grow using Open Source to get ahead, I'm glad my information helps you! I hope you best of luck being a once small startup trying to make a living, and I'll address some new ideas for you in videos to come! |
