So I have tried both services...
Well actually only one, and that has to do with the lack of current support for Linux. We start with Wuala:
I had registered for a new service called dropbox The service offered a way to have remote storage from anywhere, with a installed application to sync files. I got today an invite to try it.
First things first, there was no beta for a Linux release, so I attempted to try installing the application in wine. Things seem to go smoothly, until I got into 40% of the work. Then EPIC Fail arrived with a message that files couldn't be copied. I clicked OK, but after the initial install, it didn't startup.
So other words, I cannot give judgment on the other things about it until they decide "hmmm, you IT guys make a boat load of money, I think our advertising guys would be able to do well with this!" Of coarse.'0. I'm not in marketing...
"Common MAAAN! Get With The Program!"

Wuala honestly is still in Alpha. So far though, the application has been grand! I think the Linux installer isn't that pretty, the directions for installation were easy to follow. With Wuala, I can encrypt my data and share folders amongst my family and friends, and even share it with others online. Each friend you sign up, gives you another gig of online space.
